Kaze – Route Video Maker on the web ("the site") is made by DUCDUY. This policy explains what information the site handles and why.

No account

The site has no sign-up and no login. We do not ask for your name, email or phone number.

Your routes and photos stay on your device

GPX files you import, the edits you make, the photos you attach to markers, your nickname and profile photo, and the videos you create are handled only in your browser, on your device, and kept in its storage there. We do not upload them. A video leaves your device only when you save it or share it yourself.

If you share a GPX file to Kaze installed from your browser, your browser keeps it on your device until Kaze opens it.

Map data

To draw the map, the site downloads map tiles, map fonts and symbols from our tile server (tiles.kaze-vda.com, hosted on Cloudflare). Like any web request, this reveals your IP address to the server. Tile requests contain the map area, not your route file. Map data © OpenStreetMap contributors.

The website

Like any website, the server that delivers these pages sees your IP address and which pages you ask for.

No ads, no tracking

The site shows no ads and uses no analytics or tracking. It sets no cookies. Besides your own work, the only thing it keeps in your browser is your choice of a light or dark appearance.

Notifications

If you allow notifications, the site uses them only to tell you, on this device, that your video is ready or could not be made while its tab is in the background. Your browser shows them; nothing is sent through a server.

Error reports

The site sends no crash or error reports.

Deleting your data

Everything the site keeps is in your browser, on your device. Importing another route replaces the previous one and its photos. Clearing this site's data in your browser's settings removes all of it.

Children

The site is not directed at children under 13 (or the equivalent age in your country).
